Five principles are open to all men, always free, always outdoors, always led by a member of the pax. Only you know your medical history so modify if needed. End in a circle of trust.

Credo is leave no man behind, but leave no man where you find him.

This Convergence was a bit different. Heavy hearts formed for the full version of “Put the Tri in Triple”, an ode to Fossil. In an effort to commemorate Fossil’s memory, we ran a full partner Iron Man Triathlon, compliments of Photons brain.

We began with 10 Abe Vigodas IC and 71 SSH IC (for Fossil’s age)

Partners took turns doing 136 reps of swimmers with bricks (2:1) totaling 3.8km, 1446 Freddie Mercurys totaling 180km and 151, 5m runs totaling 42.2km. One partner did 15 flying squirrels then switched on/off for reps while the other partner did his 15 flying squirrels. In between switching exercises from swimming to biking and biking to running, a partner wheelbarrow was done approximately 25m down and back totaling 50 meters.

We circled up for COT as we welcomed 3 new FNGs to the Swamp (listed above). Crawdad shared his 6 and it hit home as it always does.

The Nant’an flag was passed. The next 43 feet are in the hands of Footloose. It was an honor to serve as the Nant’an of the Swamp! Thank you to everyone that came out this morning and for all the support over the past 18 months. Onward and Upward!

About 60 °F and fair as the PAX circled at the shovel flag. Got started promptly at 0530 to have time for the fun part 🙂
Intro: Mission and core principles, credo.

    THANG:
Counted the PAX off into 2 groups, and group 2 brought their cinderblocks to the field north of the swimming pool where the LIME and Coconut Crawl progression was laid out.
Since we used half the blocks as we had people, it became a team even to advance the blocks across the field, by LIME'ing to the next cone in the line, then coconut crawling to the succeeding cone, then running the rest of the loop around the field back to where the blocks were. All together we moved all the blocks up by 6 or 7 cones in the time allotted.

Since the cones defined such a nice edge, a couple more cones was all it took to turn the field into an ultimate frisbee pitch for the 2nd half of the workout. Team 1 was pulling ahead until Ten Pin took a nasty disc to the face and had to bow out. YHC switch squads to backfill, and then things evened out a bit.

Called recover back to the shovel flag for COT

    COR/NOR, Longhorn 6.

Convergence tomorrow, Father's day Sunday. Lots to pray for.

Honored to have the lead today and grateful to a dozen guys for getting after it with me!
