  1. Workout: Don’t Be A Lucy!
    Date: 11/3/21
Location: Field of Dreams – Rolf Park – Maumee, OH
    QIC: Geppetto
PAX: 8 total – Woodstock, Landslide, Lonzo, Mercy, Lyman, Rudy, Geppetto, Barney
No FNG’s so right into Mission and Principles:
    F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
Mission –Plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
The core principles of F3 are that it must:
    Be free of charge
    Be open to all men
Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
Be led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary. You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.
End with a Circle of Trust

    Warm up
    (20) Side Straddle Hops (IC), (15) Chainbreakers (IC), (10) Windmills (IC).
    The Thang:
“Guardian” run around the loop on the south side of the park. Terminate under the light on the south side of the pool building and have a discussion on the 1st core principle
1st Core Principle – F3 Workouts are ALWAYS Free of Charge. Why? Easiest way to get an FNG to try it is to give it away! Would anyone try F3 is they were charged for it, not knowing what it is?
    – (25) Merkins, (25) LBC’s OYO, (25) Plank Jacks (IC), (25) Leg Lifts
    -Plank for the six

Guardian run around the park loop and back to the starting point – 2nd Core Principle – F3 Workouts are Open to All Men. If your heart and mind are closed, you aren’t making the most IMPACT possible.
    – 10 burpees OYO
    – 25 each flutter kicks (2 is 1) , pickle pounders, hello dolly’s.
    -Plank for the six.

Guardian run around the park loop and back to the starting point – 3rd Core Principle – F3 Workouts are held outdoors rain or shine, heat or cold. Always outside helps keep it free of charge. Earning a victory in the elements 1st thing in the morning sets up for a good day. Battling through wind rain heat snow cold builds resistance and helps you push through adversity.

    – 25 American Hammers (4 is 1), Imperial Walkers (4 is 1), Big Boy Sit Ups

Guardian run around the park loop and back to the starting point – 4th Core Principle – F3 Workouts are led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion by men who participate, with no training or certification necessary. Controlled environment is which all men can lead, will fail but will be corrected lovingly by their F3brothers and do better the next time.

    – 35 Carolina Dry Docks to Air Press (5 dry docks/5 air presses x’s 5 sets).

We were running out of time so we went right into the 5th Core Principle – F3 Workouts end in a Circle of Trust. No matter what transpires during a workout, we leave it there, circle up to talk about what is on our hearts and minds. Consider “the six” as being an honor. Share from your heart why F3 matters to you,

    -25 Merkins, LBC’s OYO

Called time and ran back to the flag for:

Circle of Trust with Count-O-Rama, Name-O-Rama, The Six, Announcements and a Ball of Man with prayer. Woodstock was the six. EH’d by Mickey and other F3 Toledo PAX at the MacQueens run four years ago. Got his name because his last name is Brown. Has always enjoyed exercise and working out but felt like he needed something more in his life and F3 has filled that gap. Announcements: Whitehouse AO launch set for Nov 12th at 5:30am. Thanksgiving football at Foundry. Saturday Christmas AO’s will shift to Christmas Eve Friday. Prayers for teachers, students, school administrators and to be better husbands, fathers, coworkers, etc.

    Moleskin/Spreadsheet from the Gloom:
    Crisp 32 degree morning!
Honored to lead this group of Maumee All-Stars!
