Revenge of the Squirrels
PAX – Woodstock, Rudy, Mercy, VanGogh, Barney(Q)
Today the PAX worked on their Squirrel skills.
We warmed up with Squirrel Suicides in the parking lot. Typical “suicide” run, but every other turn-around was a burpee.
Next, we moseyed back to the playground and practiced our climbing and squirrel sunbathing with 5 pullups and 5 Inchworm Merkins on repeat.
Third was squirrel jumping practice. We Broad jumped across a field and back. Every other broad jump was a burpee.
Now that the warm-up was complete, we worked on a new move called the Squirreleree. This move is a mix of a Squrl, a Thruster, and a Blockee. At the near cone we did squrls, thrusters, and blockees. Then rifle carry to the other cone where we did 10 Squirrelerees. Rifle carry back to the near cone. The Near cone was reps of 5, then 10, 15, etc…
