It was a dark and stormy night…
Well, it certainly had been, with torrential rains, lightning and thunder. The other AOs cancelled their beatdowns. But I could tell that the voice in my head saying to cancel strangely had the same accent as the voice that tells me to fartsack, to find an excuse to give less than 100%, to rationalize mediocrity. I continued to argue with it all the way to the AO…watching the sky light up–albeit a ways to the south. It might have won had not Cinnamons driven up just at the right moment. So, we put the 3rd principle into practice.
