New AO: Pearson Park, home of the Thursday Ruck has now been dubbed, “The Mud Hole.” This embraces the rich history of the Black Swamp, where settlers did their best to avoid mud holes that could swallow their horses and wagons. The only disappointment on this lovely February morning was no rain! With coupons in hand we worked in a couple of hills before visiting the observation tower for some muricans and Lt. Dans. A couple of running intervals to keep us on time were a welcome change of pace.
