The premier of Swamp Softball!
Broke into 3 teams of 5.
Team 1 batted first, with Teams 2 & 3 in the outfield, and kept rotating.
Rules:
Standard Slowpitch softball rules – but faster and with burpees
Each batter has a full count to start
Gets 1 pitch – Walk, strikeout, or hit (allowed 1 foul ball)
Playing “Ready Ball” – pitcher can pitch when they are ready, batter must hustle to plate
On change of sides, must wait on first batter to get into box
Ball must hit the “mat” to be a strike
Entire DEFENSE does a burpee based on the base the batter reaches (single or walk = 1 burpee, double = 2 burpees, triple = 3 burpees, HR = 4 burpees)
Entire OFFENSE does a burpee for each out reached (1, 2, then 3)
Keep track of your runs.
Maintain batting order throughout game, starting with next batter after last out.
