One part Fitness, one part Intellectual, mix in some Fellowship and you have a calorie burn for the body that fuels the soul. Throw some weight in a ruck sack, head off on a 2-3 mile hike while your mind is led through Q source material straight from the creators of F3 and other leadership development programs.

No FNG’s so right into Mission and Principles.
F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
Mission –Plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
The core principles of F3 are that it must:
Be free of charge
Be open to all men
Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
Be led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary. You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.
End with a Circle of Trust
The “Thang”: Ruck down Sixth Street and back, discussion topics included Solitude or Combination, Relational Rhythm, Prayer, Meeting
QSource:
Foundational Principle Three: Group (F3) – Does man desire solitude or combination? What are some areas of life that you act as a singleton? We seek strength in numbers for a variety of different reasons, but the most elemental is that life itself, while technically possible as a singleton, is not practical without combination with others. Loneliness is our subconscious yelling at us to go find a partner because we are not supposed to live like that. It’s dangerous.
We work out as a Group (fitness)
Q1.5-1.8 – Relational Rhythm. Some relationships require more attention/priority than others. Talk about relationships that are important to you? Are those relationships partnerships? M, Shorties, ShieldLock, Whetstone (Fellowship)
Q1.10 – Prayer. Having a relationship with your Creator. Do you make time for this each day? When? Why or why not? (Faith)
Q1.12 – Meeting. Publicly manifesting your Faith. Even if you’re in a valley, there may be a man in an even darker valley and you will forget your troubles and help your brother.
Bottom Line, we cannot accomplish anything in life without the help of others.
We ended in a Circle of Trust with Count-O-Rama, Name-O-Rama, The Six, Announcements and Prayers. Flo was the six, Eh’d by Cedar Creek folks, got his name because he sells insurance. Keep coming back out for the brotherhood.
As always it was an honor to lead.
