We won’t be combing over the card catalog Thursday evenings in Maumee. We will be getting work done at our newest beatdown location La Biblioteca!
The rains were threatening, but they blew away before the beatdown. Ended up being a beautiful evening at La Bibliotecca. We got in a full 18 holes of “golf.” We played in a 4-some, taking turns playing each hole. The number of “strokes” was the multiplier for the number of reps of whatever exercises were on the cone. For example, if the first hole took 4 strokes and the cone said Merkins X5 we all had to do 20 merkins. There were different exercises at each “green”. Players had to use the following equipment to complete the hole, using each piece of equipment atleast once. A foam frisbee, a tennis racket and ball, and a larger spikey ball that could be rolled, thrown or kicked.
Some of the exercises were – merkins, burpees, air presses, bonnie blairs, jump squats, mike tysons, side straddle hops, and 2 more I can’t remember. At the end we took turns picking lab exercises so we used all of our time wisely.
