    Workout: Wellnes Wednesday
No FNG’s so right into Mission and Principles:
    F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
The Mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership
The core principles of F3 are that it must:
    Be free of charge
    Be open to all men
Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
Be led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary.
End with a Circle of Trust

Credo: Leave no man behind but leave no man where you find him.

Disclaimer: You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.

    Warm up: None

    The Thang:

    Hero WOD: “Maupin”

U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Keith “Matt” Maupin, 24, of Batavia, Ohio, disappeared on April 9, 2004, when insurgents south of Baghdad attacked his convoy with small-arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades. His remains were found on March 20, 2008. Prior to his disappearance, Maupin served as part of the 724th Transportation Company in Bartonville, Illinois.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn; father, Keith; a brother and sister; and many other friends and family members.

Run 800 meters – we “modified” and ran the gravel track (approx 1100 meters)
    49 push-ups
    49 sit-ups
    49 squats
    Repeato until time is called.

    COT:
    Count o Rama – Eight

The Six – Photon – Eh’d through various social media posts beginning in June of last year. Decided to try it out and literally hasn’t stopped since day one! F3 is a place for role models and to find men who do it right. Photon gave an example of watching Spaulding father his daughter the previous night at gymnastics. He said Spaulding was doing it “differently” that the others around him and Photo appreciate that. Got is name because he works at First Solar.

LDP3: Disruption: Disturbance to the status quo.

Announcements: Check Mumblechatter! Plenty of opportunities to serve as guys continue to execute their Winter Challenge 3rd F initiatives.

BOM w/prayer: Prayers for Coconut and a speedy recovery from his skin cancer surgery (more on Coconut below). Prayers for this group as a whole and that God continues to bring men to F3 and that we as a group continue to lead our families and communities and make an impact. And prayers of praise to the G.O.A.T. Disruptor, Jesus, who came to Earth to show us a different way to live in which we place others before ourselves.

Spreadsheets from the Gloom: Warm-ish. Low 50s. Low wind. One of those mornings where you get a mix of shorts, hats, sweatshirts, etc. No one is quite sure how to dress. LOL.

Despite not being able to workout because of his recent procedure. Alan “Coconut” Davies still posted this morning, walked the track and provided encouragement and presence to the PAX.

    This is F3.

A doctor prescribed week off from physical exercise is like a hall pass to fartsack seven days in a row. But not for a HIM like Coconut. He was there at 5:30 for the opening and stayed through COT. He didn’t say much. He was mostly quiet. He didn’t have to speak. His presence was felt by the PAX. His actions spoke on his behalf.

This was a timely reminder to myself and hopefully the other PAX in attendance and hopefully anyone else who reads this. Being there for each other is what matters. Whether it’s pushing alongside someone during IronPax, throwing on a ruck and chatting, grabbing coffee after a Saturday beatdown, serving alongside someone at Mosaic.

HIM, make your presence felt. It may mean more to someone that you could even imagine.
