Located in the heart of Maumee, Ohio is Wakanda the home of the Maumee Panthers. Physical education starts early on Thursdays for men of the Black Swamp.
It was a quiet morning at Wakanda. A beatdown was planned and posted in the chat with the title of The Three Stooges. Waking up this morning to see that only 1 other PAX had HC’ed it became apparent that the title should be changed to The Two Stooges.
I don’t know if it was the lack of interest in slap-stick comedy, or if the PAX were going through depression after our goodbye party to Charlotte last week, or if the fart sack turned into a heartsack is what kept the HC count low.
T-claps to Mercy for posting with me this morning in the gloom. Since nobody else showed up, we decided to call an audible and go for a ruck. We both are close to finishing the April Challenge. Before today, I was in need of nearly 6 miles to reach the goal of 50 miles this month. So, we rucked towards the Lucas County recreational / County Fairgrounds. This was new territory for us both, but were able to navigate our way all the way down to the hand-ball courts and back.
