This boot camp style workout site has it all. Hills, ramps, basketball courts, ball field, steps, playground, open space and a picturesque view of the mighty Maumee. There’s even a giant Black Swamp frog. The possibilities are endless.

The Thang:
This BD is a simple concept. 4 cones 25ish feet apart. An exercise at each cone. A different movement to the cones for each round. Sprint up the hill between each round.
Corner 1. Lt. Dans
Corner 2. Burpees
Corner 3. Absolutions
Corner 4. BBSU
Round 1 was 10 reps at each cone then crab walk to the next cone.
Round 2 was 15 reps at each cone then Imperial Walker Walk to next cone.
Round 3 was 20 reps, then Smurf Shuffle (lateral Smurf Jack Style) to next cone.
Followed up with 52 second holding plank, side plank and other side plank.

Beautiful morning at the Yard. Impending snow was on the way, but YHC & Huffy took advantage of the calm before the storm. Many if not all of the area schools announced last night that schools would be closed today. During the workout a couple of deer came down to the Yard to say hello. They got approx 30 feet from us before a couple joggers came by. The deer darted off. The joggers were female and therefore, no attempt to EH was made.

We prayed for Mile High and the young soldier overseas who he is mentoring. We prayed for Luke, Armstrong’s son who is battling cancer. We also prayed for the bond forged between Huffy and I over the last few years and the many bonds that all the men of F3 have formed over the years. Also those defending our country and first responders.
As always, it was a genuine honor to lead. I have been blessed by this group of HIM more than I can describe. AYE!
OH!! I forgot to add that after the BD, we went to the Dunkin on Rt 25 to join PAX from other AOs for Coffeeteria! GREAT morning!
