Boot camp style workout. On the River. Amazing way to watch the sun come up and start the day with sweat pouring over your rejuvenated soul. Some ramps, lots of steps, a little concrete, a little grass, all the fixens for beautifully scripted beatdown!

Best Parking is on Cherry Street. **Please be considerate when you park on the side streets, keep the Mumblechatter at a minimum out of respect for the residents.**

    PAX: 15 Total – Guardian, Crawdad, Tarnished, Stark, Waldo, Doubtfire, Chanel, Coconut, Phat Thor, Casper, Irish Hoss, Spaulding, Huckleberry, Hannibal (Q), and Bourbon (Q).

    F3 Mission: Fitness, Fellowship, Faith; To plant, grow, and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership

    Principles of F3:
    • It must be free of charge
    • It must be open to all men
    • It must be held outdoor, rain or shine, hot or cold
    • It must be peer led in a rotating fashion by men who participate in the workout, with no training or certification necessary
    • It must end with a Circle of Trust (COT)

    The Thang:

    • Mosey to Hood Park
    o Bear Crawl up the Hood Park hill/ramp
     Modification is to lunge walk
    o Plank for the 6
    o 10-Count
    o Crawl Bear back down
     Modification is reverse lunge walk
    o Plank for the 6
    • 21’s in cadence
    o Coconut didn’t slap his legs, but stomped to indicate the count. Stopped at 7; 5 burpees for all
    o Missed final count again; 5 burpees for all
    o Made it on the third attempt
    • Mosey back to the Wall.
    o Order of 2×2
    o When Q yells “rotate”, the left side of the line rotates. This is to get PAX used to being in sync with others and rotating in preparation for GrowRuck
    o Once we got to the Wall, we kept moving, but right side of line would rotate
    o All the way up the ramp to the flag pole
    • Plank for the 6
    • Q spoke on importance of staying with your partner, picking up the 6, etc.
    • 21’s in cadence
    o Missed first attempt; 5 burpees for all
    o Completed on second attempt
    • Mosey in 2×2 back down to wall
    • Circle of Pain where the next PAX in line calls an exercise
    o Hannibal = Lt. Dan’s, OYO, 10 total
    o Guardian = circle of burpees; PAX plank and then burpee on your turn
    o Crawdad = mountain climbers in cadence
     Crawdad and other PAX learned a bit more on cadence and Crawdad called the cadence for his first time. He did great!
