Boot camp style workout. On the River. Amazing way to watch the sun come up and start the day with sweat pouring over your rejuvenated soul. Some ramps, lots of steps, a little concrete, a little grass, all the fixens for beautifully scripted beatdown!
Best Parking is on Cherry Street. **Please be considerate when you park on the side streets, keep the Mumblechatter at a minimum out of respect for the residents.**

We celebrated the iconic, 1979 album, The Wall by “beatdown touring” the area at and around The Wall with the accompanying soundtrack. Songs that appeared on the 40 minutes of work were as follows:
Another Brick in the Wall (parts 1 and 2)
The Happiest Days of our Lives
Young Lust
Hey You!
Vera
The Thin Ice
Waiting for the Worms
Run Like Hell
Empty Spaces
Good Bye Blue Sky
The inspiration for this beatdown came from the book, “Skipping Christmas”, by John Grisham. On 12/22/2004 my M and I did something very unique to us and hopped a plane for London the week of Christmas.

The pax moseyed from the shovel flag to Hood Park, into town, to St. Rose, the tall monument up the stairs near Hood Park, and various other locales near and around the AO. At each stop we performed work that was somehow connected to the tune. For example: merkins in the wet grass to “Waiting for the Worms”.
