Best Part of Waking Up
(Is F3 in your cup)
Workout BB:
Alarm Clock X10
Good Morning Abby X5
Morning Call X2 rounds
Bojangles Biscuits X2 rounds
Prayer Squats X15
COT
F3 Men: Dora, Besse, Bob Ross, Colson (Q)
Special “Black Ops” Event: The March for the Fallen 13:
Reload, Echo, Treebeard, Brogan, Colson, Besse, and Southie met at Independence Dam State Park just before dawn and began the ruck march. Proceeded 13 miles (6.5 miles out; 6.5 miles back) in just over 4 hours. Concluded with 13 burpees and a COT.
I want to thank each of you for taking the time to commemorate this solemn anniversary today. Too often when we lose a service member, there is an immediate outpouring of grief and support that fades away with the next news cycle. It is easier not to think or reflect on the sacrifices. Your willingness to do something hard in memory of these 13 was meaningful. “Time will not dim the glory of their deeds.”
