We meet in the backside parking lot of the Fort Meigs Historic Site take Rapids Rd right before the bridge to Maumee to find us

What the ruck is a ruck?  A hike with a weighted backpack (approx 30 lbs) while stopping along the brisk walk to do some invigorating exercise. Excellent 1st F (fitness) and 2nd F (fellowship). If an FNG (Friendly New Guy) is a bit timid to post for a workout the ruck is a great intro to the pax.

No FNG’s so right into Mission and Principles:
    F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
Mission – Plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
The core principles of F3 are that it must:
    Be free of charge
    Be open to all men
Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
Be led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary. You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.
End with a Circle of Trust

The “Thang”: A shortened, modified version of the Robbie Miller WOD CSAUP from 1.7.24.
1 mile ruck across the bridge into Maumee and east along the river. Turned around and halted under the bridge overpass. Completed multiple rounds of six reps each of: Ruck burpee squats, ruck mountain climbers and ruck get ups. Modifications were: Squats, Imperial Walkers and Lunges. 1 mile ruck back to the Lower Necropolis.

    Count-O-Rama: 17 (with runners)
    Name-O-Rama
The Six: Ten Pin – have been injured for a few months and it felt good to get back out. Got his name because he likes to bowl but the ten pin is his weakness. EH’d by Re-Load.

    Spreadsheets from the Gloom:
Weather: Mid to Low 30’s. Wet snow. Grateful to be a part of this group and it is awesome to see the dedication of 17 men to post in far less than ideal conditions.

It was an honor to lead.
