New AO: Pearson Park, home of the Thursday Ruck has now been dubbed, “The Mud Hole.” This embraces the rich history of the Black Swamp, where settlers did their best to avoid mud holes that could swallow their horses and wagons. The Thang:
Rucked from the parking lot to the observation deck. Took a quick peek around (in the dark) and did some work with rucks:
5 merkins
10 lunges
15 squats
5 merkins.
We then rucked toward the RR tracks and turned around about ¾ of the way out to head back to the parking lot.
After the observation deck, Deliverance posed the question “is leadership a skill one is born with or something one can learn?” (from the LDP3). We had great discussion for the rest of the ruck, it was fantastic.
