    Workout: Progress Report

    FNG’s: N/A

    Mission and Principles:
    F3: Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
Mission: To plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
The core principles of F3 are that it is always:
    1. Free of charge
    2. Open to all men
    3. Held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
    4. Led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary. You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.
    5. Ends with a Circle of Trust
Credo: Leave no man behind but leave no man where you find him

Warm-up: In cadence: Run up the drive towards Eckel Junction Rd and back into the Ft Meigs Elementary parking lot to the back of the school.

    The “Thang”:

Cones set up at either end of the blacktop (approx 40 yards apart). Perform 20 reps of an exercise, run to the other end, and perform 20 reps of a different exercise. Nine-minute sets. Whistle every three minutes = five burpees.

    Round One: Merkins and BBSU’s
Round Two: Squats and American Hammers
Round Three (not truncated this time): Flutter Kicks and Plank Jack Shoulder Taps
Round Four (truncated): Imperial Walkers and Pickle Pounders

    Ended with:
    Count-O-Rama: 10
    Name-O-Rama

    The Six – Lego

    Ball of Man

Spreadsheets from the Gloom: This BD was an ode to my first F3 workout 9 weeks ago at the same AO, The Gauntlet, Q-ed by Geppetto. I mimicked Geppetto’s workout entirely with a little extra at the end (because there wasn’t a late FNG this time around) as a self-checkup to get a feel for how much I have(n’t) progressed since I started. Was awesome to see so many of the guys out today who were a part of that first workout, in addition to the guys who weren’t there the first go-around, and I look forward to continuing my journey with all of you HIMs. Many of you have already made a huge impact on me, and that doesn’t get talked about enough because you’re all so selfless.

Upper 40s with a little breeze that made that flag look beautiful. I made my best attempt at a Geppetto DMB playlist. Apparently F3 isn’t free, but the LED cones looked good and every one of DMB’s notes was audible across the parking lot.

Thanks for all who posted. It was a pleasure to lead.
