Bootcamp style workout. Huge AO! 1/2 mile and .9 mile track. 2 Large pieces of playground equipment for pullups and hanging exercises. Over half a dozen soccer and lacrosse fields. The possibilities are endless for your Monday beatdowns!

The First Monday of each month will be a Murph workout in honor of Lt. (SEAL) Michael Murphy.

    Workout: DRP

    No FNG’s (or so we thought) so right into Mission and Principles:

    F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
    The Mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership
    The core principles of F3 are that it must:
    Be free of charge
    Be open to all men
    Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
    Be led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary.
    End with a Circle of Trust
    Credo: Leave no man behind but leave no man where you find him.
    Disclaimer: You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.

    Warm up in cadence: Run up the drive towards Eckel Junction Rd and back into the Ft Meigs Elemetary parking lot to the back of the school

    The Thang:
    Cones set up at either end of the blacktop (approx 40 yds apart). Perform 20 reps of an exercise, run to the other end, perform 20 reps of a different exercise. Nine minute sets. Whistle every three minutes = five burpees.
    Round One: Merkins and BBSU’s
    Round Two: Squats and American Hammers
    Round Three (truncated): Flutter Kicks and Plank Jack Shoulder Taps

    Time was called.

    The Six – Alright, Alright, Alright. EH’d by Lego’s community Facebook post. Got his name because he said his favorite chick flick was How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days. Keeps coming back for the camaraderie and because he needs the motivation and wouldn’t work out on his own.

    Announcements: RRC this Saturday to benefit Task Force 20. September 9th Convergence at Battlefield.

    BOM w/prayer: Prayers for everyone going back to school. Prayers for Mile High as he is heading back home for a while.

    Spreadsheets from the Gloom: We had an FNG join late. So we paused the workout, circled up again, and went through Mission and Principles for the FNG. Shout out to Bourbon for spotting the FNG and letting me know.
