Mental Battle WOD for 2023

Starfish style workout, visiting 4 stations, and returning to the center after each for a quick dose of burpees. Each round, PAX repeated the previous exercises at a station, then added another one.
Round1: 10 HRM–2 burpees–15 shoulder taps–2 burpees–20 Monkey humpers–2 burpees–25 LBCs–2 burpees.
Round2: 10 HRM and 10 Clap Merkins–4b–15 STs and 15 Mtn. Climber–4b–20 MH and 20 Bonnie Blair–4b–25 LBC and 25 Freddie Mercury.
Round3: 10 HRM, 10 CM, 10 toe touch Merkinss–8b–15 STs, 15 MCs, 15 Peter Parkers–8b–20 MH, 20 BB, 20 side lunge–8b–25 LBC, 25 FM, 25 Heels to Heaven–8b
Round4: 10 HRM, 10 CM, 10 TTM, 10 Mike Tyson–16b–15 STs, 15 MCs, 15 PPs, 15 Donkey Kicks–16b–20 MH, 20 BB, 20 SL, 20 Jump Squats–16b–25 LBC, 25 FM, 25 H2H, 25 Superman–16b
Stations were placed 50m from the center point, so each round also included 400m of running. Nobody finished, but the fastholes got to the end of the legs in round 4.
Some stats about men’s mental health were sprinkled into the burpee station in round 1–highlighting how normal it is for Men to crave/need/benefit from mental health support.
COT: COR/NOR, One Man Band was the 6. We borrowed an idea from F3 Princeton–delivered by Crawdad and let every man in the COT say something brief about what’s on his mind. Sharing was shared, and much good discussion followed during Mental Health Coffeeteria.
