With Woodstock on the schedule to Q, he had something spectacular planned for the beatdown. A late-night family emergency forced Woodstock to give a heads up to Lonzo, Mercy and Chew Toy that he may need to hand off the Q. The am confirmed that the Q was indeed in Lonzo, Mercy, and Chew Toy’s hands. Woodstock sent a description of the planned beatdown, and Lonzo and Mercy attempted to execute it.
At 0505, Mercy reached out to Cinnamons for a Hail Mary to bring the glow in the dark football. Cinnamons brought the ball. Completion. First down.
Lonzo stalled further with an intense warmup while Mercy prepared more lights and tried to understand the beatdown Woodstock wanted to run. Woodstock always makes things more complicated. You should be there for his deck of cards beatdowns…
Warmup: windmills, motivators starting at 7, and circle merkins to 100. At one point, Lonzo had each pax do 2 merkins at a time. A great idea, instead of just one each.
After several audibles and attempts to run the beatdown as Woodstock intended, we settled on a form of Ultimate Frisbee, but with 1 football. With 7 PAX, the offense always had 4 PAX. The person who was at fault for the turnover to the defense would then be part of the offense. Essentially, if you loved offense, you could just always turn it over, and stay on offense in perpetuity.
In the end, all were winded. Every turnover was supposed to have some sort of exercise. We did 5 burpees once. We prob shoulda done more. Every score was rewarded with 20 squats, then 20 merkins.
All pax got their moneys worth today.
