F3: Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
Mission: To plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
The core principles of F3 are that it is always:
1. Free of charge
2. Open to all men
3. Held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
4. Led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary. You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.
5. Ends with a Circle of Trust
Credo: Leave no man behind but leave no man where you find him

Spreadsheets from the Gloom: 52 and calm. This one was for Charlie Kirk. I wanted to run it ~10 days prior on the day of his celebration of life, but illness had other plans, so today was the day.
31 reps of each exercise to represent each of the 31 years of Charlie’s life. A run to the American flag, which was the Turning Point of the circuit, to represent Charlie’s love and dedication to America and the mission of his organization, Turning Point USA. 13 No surrenders at the flag to represent the 13 years involved in Turning Point USA where Charlie refused to back down from threats, ridicule, and mockery in order to stand up for what he believed in; his country and his faith. Heading into the lion’s den day after day, year after year, to have civil conversations with those who vehemently disagreed with him. Courage to stand up for his beliefs, even at the cost of his own life.
Playlist was as intentional as the beatdown’s message. It started off with strength, but slowly progressed towards sadness, and ultimately anger, in an effort to reflect the emotions that so many have felt since the day of his assassination in combination with the responses that followed.
“Charlie” – Red Hot Chili Peppers
“Fight Like A Brave” – Red Hot Chili Peppers
“Stand!” – Sly & The Family Stone

I don’t want to bring politics into F3, and I hadn’t forayed into it up to this point. Too divisive in the group setting with high likelihood of causing anger, ostracization, and discontent within the PAX…things that we do NOT need in the day to day. But this was a beatdown that I felt called to lead.
Courage. Pass it on.
