What the ruck is a ruck? A hike with a weighted backpack (approx 30 lbs) while stopping along the brisk walk to do some invigorating exercise. Excellent 1st F (fitness) and 2nd F (fellowship). If an FNG (Friendly New Guy) is a bit timid to post for a workout the ruck is a great intro to the pax.

Workout: 1095 Ruck
No FNG’s so right into Mission and Principles:
F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
Mission – Plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
The core principles of F3 are that it must:
Be free of charge
Be open to all men
Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
Be led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary. You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.
End with a Circle of Trust
The Thang:
Ruck towards the Perrysburg/Maumee bridge, under the bridge into Orleans Park and back to Necropolis with flag rotations approximately every five minutes. Group would halt for car honks (four in total) and perform in cadence PT. 1st and 4th stops-(10) four count overhead presses with ruck, 2nd stop (10) four count ruck curls, 3rd stop (10) four count squats with ruck on. Finished the last quarter mile in double time.

The Six – Ticket – Eh’d by Froman. Got his name because he works with computers. Keeps coming out because of all the upstanding HIM in the group.
Announcements: THE STANDARD Ruck – August 7th. Hannibal anniversary Q at Crucible next week. Site Q transfer at Grantland tomorrow. Wayne, OH landscaping project is delayed. It will not happen this weekend.
BOM w/prayer: Prayers for Bongoledo and safe travels back to Texas, prayers for Bongeledo’s family member who has gone into Hospice care. Prayers for Houdini and his wife.
Spreadsheets from the Gloom: Extremely humid this AM. Great to see Bongo, Ticket and BOURBON!!! at the ruck this morning! Honor to lead.
