What the ruck is a ruck? A hike with a weighted backpack (approx 30 lbs) while stopping along the brisk walk to do some invigorating exercise. Excellent 1st F (fitness) and 2nd F (fellowship). If an FNG (Friendly New Guy) is a bit timid to post for a workout the ruck is a great intro to the pax.

The Thang:
A nice ruck w/ coupons. Headed north across the bridge and into Sidecut Park. Back the same way. Beeped at several times on the bridge & Q instructed to keep the tradition of 30 overhead presses for those who were not carrying a coupon. Those who were carrying a coupon had the option of completing presses.

It was an excellent ruck. It was nice to have some serious coupons back out with us. Seemed a good time was had by all.
It was great to see my very good friend from college. He drove an hour to get to Perrysburg and took a half hour nap in the parking lot before the ruck. I’ve sent him the F3 national website and I am encouraging him to keep it up when he gets back to CO.
As always, I am grateful for the opportunity to lead. The PAX in the Black Swamp are some of the finest HIM in the land. I don’t say that out of bias, but from experience. It was an honor to be a part of and lead this ruck.
