Boot camp style workout. At Woodland Park. Two large Playgrounds, Frisbee Golf Course, 1 Mile Dirt Track, HUGE Field.  Plenty of space here to craft a diabolical smokefest for even the strongest PAX.

Park at Grace Church off of East Boundary Drive.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Lamplight Cafe and Bakery located at 121 W. Indiana ave. Great opportunity to get to know members of F3 Black Swamp and refuel from the workout.

    PAX: Huffy, Spaulding, Landslide, Falling Water, Poe, Chopstick, Ponzi, Malware, Jennay, Huckleberry, Space Cowboy, Hannibal, Raven, Coconut (Q)

    “Leapfrog”

    Warmup with a double file mosey around the parking lot and some raggedy anne in cadence.

    Thang:
    Divided into two groups.
    Group 1 began at station 1 while group 2 moseyed to station 2 (7 stations set out at equal spacing along the 0.83 mile trail around the park). When group 2 arrives at station2 and begins the work, group 1 begins their mosey, leapfrogging group 2 and heading to station 3. Continue this way until both groups have done all 7 stations (2 laps of the trail).

    Each station had 3 things–an isometric exercise, a movement, and a discussion question. PAX partnered within their groups to tackle the content, switching hold and move when the other group passed by on their leapfrog.

    Station1: Treehugger, SSH, When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up to be?
    Station 2: High Plank, LBC, What’s something you failed at this year, what’d you learn?
    Station 3: Down Dog, Windmill, Who-in F3-are you chasing? how? Why?
    Station 4: V-sit, Chain Breaker, What’s a RAK (random act of kindness) you can do today?
    Station 5: Superman, Flutter Kick, What ideas do you have for your next Q?
    Station 6: Hallelujah, Air Squat, What book(s) are you reading these days?
    Station 7: Low Plank, Imperial Walker, What’s something you’re proud of these days? how can you keep accelerating in that?

    Finished the 2 laps just in time for a circle of pain to 100 merkins.
