1. Burpee Baseball – Inaugural Game

   PAX – Lonzo, Meatloaf, Mercy, Footloose, Barney, Rudy, Gepetto, Hannibal, Beretta, Mile High, Isosceles, Huckleberry, Charlotte, Lyman (Q)

   Welcome to F3 – Mission, Core Principles, and Disclaimer
   Warmup – Motivators

   Count off by twos to make two teams. Team 1 took the field, Team 2 stayed at home to “bat.”
   Team 1: Lonzo, Meatloaf, Footloose, Barney, Gepetto, Mile High, Isosceles,
   Team 2: Mercy, Rudy, Hannibal, Beretta, Huckleberry, Charlotte, Lyman

   The “batter” rolls dice to determine hit or out:
   1=Single, 2=Double, 3=Triple, 4=Home Run, 5=Out, 6=Out
   Bear Crawl to base and continue exercise

   Meanwhile batting team is performing an exercise and fielding team is performing a different exercise.
   For each out, batting team does 3 absolutions
   For each hit, fielding team does 3 burpees times base hit number (single=3 burpees, double=6 burpees, etc)
   After three outs the teams switch, just like in baseball
   After each inning, everyone runs to fence and back

   First Inning
   Fielding team: BBS
   Batting team: Squats
   Run to fence and back

   At the end of the First Inning and after lots of burpees, the Team 1 was up 10-5

   Second Inning
   Fielding team: Flutterkicks
   Batting team: Double tap Imp walkers

   At the end of the Second Inning, Team 1 was up 15-8. If my math is right, the winning team should have done 96 burpees and the losing team should have done 180. Time ran out after the second inning so we concluded with 20 Big Boy Situps.

   Burpee Baseball still needs a few tweaks, but the spirited PAX treated it as a real baseball game and had fun with it, which made the excessive burpees a little more tolerable. Grateful for the opportunity to lead this fine group of HIM on a fine morning!
